Well organized venue, great battle on the ice

Even though the attendance was solid, there was no wait time at the gates. We certainly appreciated that as it was freezing cold outside! Security check went smoothly, the staff was friendly, well organized. Bonus in the form of a Cory Schneider bobblehead! Our seats in a lower section, basically right above where the zamboni enters the ice, had a good view of what was happening on the ice, even though it seemed colder in this section compared to a few other lower sections we had previously sat in. However, there was a gap between the seats big enough to fit a large backpack - if you go to the game as a couple you might want to make sure to avoid exactly these seats. It was in Section 11, Row 13, Seats 12 and 13. The game was a hard fought battle; only one goal overall, but great moments on both sides. Devils were missing a few regulars including Mike Cammalleri, the team's points leader, and Patrik Elias. Still, I loved to see the determination of everyone stepping in to make up for them, especially the play of Bobby Farnham. Seeing the Red Wings play in person for the first time, it was clear that they have a rising star on their roster - Dylan Larkin seemed unstoppable, was also the only goal scorer of the game. Great goalies on both sides, too - Cory was solid on his big night, and so was Petr Mrazek for Detroit.

Group of kids

My seats happened to be behind a large group of kids aged 10-14. They were obnoxious, rude and blocked our view of the game. They kept switching seats, sometimes sitting in the seats of other guests. Constantly getting up and blocking our view of the game. There was 1 adult for about 40 kids. If there were more adults, they did not do a thing about these kids behavior. They also screamed profanities for 0 reason. They were with Rutherford band. It’s great that they did a performance and got to go to a game, but next time maybe they should be given the very top rows so they don’t disturb anyone behind them. Disappointed that the devils allow this .
